✅ parent carer to a child or young person aged 0-25 with SEND

✅ have lived experience of accessing education, health or social care services

✅ can speak up at meeting and amplify the collective voice, opinion and experiences of other Worcestershire parent carers

✅ and are willing to undertake 2 short online training sessions…

then WE NEED YOU!  

Worcestershire Parent Carer Forum (formerly Families in Partnership) are excited to launch our first Parent Carer Representative training sessions. The training sessions are FREE to Worcestershire parent carers and will give you the skills and knowledge to become a WPCF parent carer rep. Using your lived experience of being a parent and carer for your young person with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities, you can attend meetings with decision makers of local education, health and social care providers.

The training will teach you about the principles of co-production and give you the skills to confidently provide constructive, and occasionally challenging, conversations with providers.

Both daytime and evening sessions are available:

🌙Evening Sessions: Monday 13th May and Monday 20th May ⏰(6pm to 8.30pm)
☀️Daytime sessions: Friday 17th May and Friday 24th May ⏰(9.30am to 12 noon)
📍 Location: Online on Zoom
