FiP invited all Parents Carers and other people who contribute to the care of a child with Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) aged between 0 and 25 years to complete an online anonymous survey. We chose to split it into five age groups and if there were multiple people caring in one home, we encouraged them to complete this too! Everyone who has a caring role for a child or young person with SEND should have their voice heard.
We received a total of 156 completed results and want to thank everybody who took the time to complete it. The data does inform us of the current Parent Carer perspective on many aspects of SEND and permits us to talk openly and honestly with strategic partners at every opportunity.
The full survey is being presented to the All Age Disability Partnership Board on 18th October 2023 and we will provide the outcomes. You can view the highlights here:
