DFN Project SEARCH is a transition to work programme committed to transforming the lives of young adults with a learning disability and autism or both.
FiP would like to wish all the students preparing to start their DFN Project Search Internship this September 2023 all the very best for their first steps into the employment world. This project has been in the planning stages for quite some time and FiP have been part of that process, providing valuable Parent Carer perspective. We have had the pleasure of meeting the prospective students, participating in the recruitment, and met some of the Parent Carers too.
We will continue to join the team, meet with the young people and their families, and record their experiences throughout the academic year ahead.
